JASCO Corporation Milestones

2006

Launch of a completely new range of UV-Visible-NIR spectroscometers with a comprehensive range of accessories for Life Sciences, Materials Analysis and Semiconductor R&D

2005

Launch of the New X-LC Xtreme HPLC system for use with sub 2um particles

2004

JASCO Corporation introduces the new FT4000/6000 range of instruments with the highest performance in their class. The New FT/IR-6300 boasts the highest S/N of any commercial IR instrument at 50,000:1

2002

JASCO Corporation introduces the first ultra high pressure HPLC pump, installed at Imperial College, London

2000

JASCO Corporation introduces the FT/IR400Plus and FT/IR600 Plus range of FT/IR spectrometers

2000

JASCO Corporation announces the NFS-200/300 Near-Field Spectrometer at the Pittcon 2000 Exhibition. JASCO is the first company to introduce a commercially available Scanning Near-Field Optical Spectrometer for Raman or Photoluminescence measurements. The NFS-200 and NFS-300 systems represent a major breakthrough in spatial resolution allowing sub-wavelength optical measurements from the sample while simultaneously mapping high resolution topography

2000

Introduction of Spectra Manager Software for Windows95/NT enabling the control of J-800, P-1000, FT/IR-400/600, FT/Raman, V-Series, FP-750 and provides Macro capability for automating instrumental operation

1999

JASCO introduces the 1500 Series HPLC and the J-800 series of CD spectrometers

1998

JASCO (UK) Ltd’s expansion continues with a move to new premises in Great Dunmow Essex. The building is officially opened on March 10th 1998 by Mr Shigehisa - President and CEO, Mr Komura and Mr Takahashi JASCO Corporation Japan

1997

JASCO further expands its operations in Europe by establishing JASCO France. Launch of JASCO’s Spectra Manager™ software for data collection and spectral manipulation from CD, UV-Vis-NIR, FT/IR and Fluorescence instrumentation, FP-750 fluorescence spectrometer FT/IR-400\600 Series FT/IR spectrometers, NRS2000 Triple monochromator with CCD detector Laser Raman spectrometer and P-1000 polarimeters launched

1996

JASCO Experiment Manager software launched for the J-Series CD spectrometers

1995

J-715 Circular Dichroism spectrometer introduced

1994

JASCO (UK) Ltd established in the UK with offices at Great Dunmow, Essex

1993

JASCO introduces the LC-900 Series HPLC

1992

R&D 100 Award for JASCO’s Ultra-Violet Oil Concentration Meter

1991

JASCO continues its expansion in Europe by establishing JASCO Germany

J-710/20 CD Instruments and NR-1800 and Worlds first auto-alignment Laser Raman introduced

JASCO introduces the worlds first dedicated microscope-FT/IR; the FT/IR-100, Waters OEM JASCO’s Fluorescence detector

R&D Award for JASCO’s semiconductor Micro-RAMAN Mapping System

JASCO Europe SRI established in Italy

JASCO introduces the first fully PC controlled Circular Dichroism instrument the J-600

1984

Varian OEM HPLC pump, UV and fluorescence detector. NR-1000\1100 Laser Raman with PDA, E.I.A. System introduced

1982

FT/IR-3 first commercial FT/IR to be made in Japan, JASCO’s Familic-300 semi-micro HPLC wins the IR-100 award, JASCO manufactures a cell sorter, flow cytometer, UV/VIS spectrophotometers

1981

BIO-RAD OEM JASCO manufactured UV and Fluorescence HPLC Detectors, IBM Instruments OEM a JASCO manufactured UV/Visible Spectrophotometer

1980

DIP-140 Polarimeter and A-702 high resolution IR spectrophotometer introduced

1978

HPLC Pump, UV Detector introduced and J-500 CD Spectropolarimeter enters manufacturing

1977

JASCO Engineering and JASCO Speciality Instruments OEM to Du-Pont Instruments

1976

JASCO International formed, Varian OEM Spectrofluorimeters, Kontron Spectrophotometers

1975

Clinical photometers, flame photometers and Micro HPLC systems are manufactured and the start of JASCO’s venture into supplying OEM businesses

1972

JASCO Incorporated (USA) formed and Spectrofluorometers introduced. J-40 goes into production firstly with pockel cell then later supplied with piezo-elastic modulator

1971

Introduction of further UV-Visible Spectrometers

1970

Introduction of the first Laser Raman spectrometers with the model R-750

1965

First CD accessory for the ORD\UV-5 is produced

1963

JASCO introduces the ORD\UV-5 spectropolarimeter with double beam UV-Vis capabilities

1961

ORD/CD product line introduces the AP-1 polarimeter and UV-1 UV-Visible spectrometer
