Uses a diffuser plate placed in front of the emission monochromator to measure the absorbance or the transmittance of a solution sample in a 10-mm rectangular cell.

Increases measurement sensitivity ~3x by using spherical mirrors directed toward the cell to increase the efficiency of the excitation and emission light. Accommodates microcells (3×3 or 5×5) as well as standard 10×10 mm pathlength cells.

Used for measuring samples in a triangular (FSA-805) or rectangular (FSA-806) cell that have high absorbance and/or re-absorb fluorescence.

Uses an optical fiber to measure the fluorescence spectrum of samples not in the sample compartment of the spectrofluorometer. Permits measurements of large samples, tracing in vivo reactions, and samples which cannot be accessed by conventional means.
